How to Play Checkers: The goal is to capture all opponent pieces or block their moves. Each player starts with 12 pieces on dark squares of the first three rows. Regular pieces move one step diagonally forward to an empty dark square. Capture by jumping over an opponent's piece diagonally to an empty square beyond; multiple jumps are mandatory if available. When a piece reaches the opponent's back row, it becomes a King, moving and jumping both forward and backward. Win by capturing all pieces or leaving the opponent with no legal moves.
